This 2-day short course presents the main data communications techniques along with their impact on several  applications.  The course includes descriptions of both local and wide area networks. In addition, the course will have a discussion on ATM, TCP/IP and wireless networks as well as an overview of cellular and personal communications technologies

The course is designed for those involved in the design, implementation, development, and production of data communication and network systems and need to know the  basic concepts in this field.
